Who these terms bind
Fashion Casting is a fashion and lifestyle event management agency operating from the United Kingdom and booking talent in 81 cities across six continents. In these terms, we and the agency mean Fashion Casting; client means the person or organisation booking talent; talent means a model, actor, influencer, pageant titleholder, host or presenter represented by us; and booking means a confirmed engagement for one or more event days.
Using this site, requesting a shortlist or paying an invoice means you accept these terms. Talent are additionally bound by their signed Representation Agreement, which prevails over these terms where the two differ.
What we provide
We work in two divisions. Fashion serves brands, designers and showrooms with curated presentations, launch evenings, fittings, buyer appointments and collection viewings. Lifestyle serves private clients and venues with dinners, members clubs, luxury escapes and milestone celebrations.
We are an agency, not an employer of the talent and not a venue, caterer or event producer. We present talent, agree terms in writing, arrange travel where asked, and pay the talent. Anything outside that is not part of the booking.
Client membership
Clients pay an annual membership fee: $1,000 a year for the Fashion division and $2,000 a year for the Lifestyle division. A client joins one division, the one their events sit in. The fee is not a retainer, not a deposit and not credit against a booking; booking fees are quoted separately per event day. Membership runs for twelve months from the day it is paid and renews on that anniversary. We write to the client thirty days before renewal, and either side may decline it.
Membership can be withdrawn, with the fee refunded pro rata under our Refund Policy, if a client breaches the conduct clause or attempts to contract our talent directly.
How a booking is formed
You send the city, dates, headcount, duties and budget. We return a shortlist. When you choose, we issue a written booking summary carrying the rate, the duties, the schedule, the travel arrangements and the payment date.
A booking exists only once that summary is issued and the deposit has cleared. Messages, calls and verbal agreements do not create a booking, and nothing is held on a name until the deposit lands.
Fees and rates
Fashion bookings run from $1,000 to $5,000 per event day. Lifestyle bookings run from $2,000 to $10,000 per event day. Talent at the top of the market are quoted individually and above those ranges.
A rate covers the hours written into the summary. Overtime is agreed in writing before it happens and invoiced at a quarter of the day rate per hour. All figures are in US dollars and exclusive of any local tax that applies at the event location.
Payment terms
Half of the agreed total is due when the booking is confirmed. The balance is due on the event day. We accept card and Apple Pay through our PayPal checkout, PayPal itself, and USDT, ETH or BTC on the networks listed on the payment page. We add no surcharge; your own bank and network fees are yours.
Crypto payments are valued in US dollars at the rate on arrival, and both figures appear on the receipt. Coins sent on a network we have not listed are unrecoverable and are not treated as payment. Every payment carries the booking reference; a payment we cannot match may delay confirmation.
Talent are paid on the day the balance clears, by the method they chose. We do not hold talent funds beyond that day.
Travel and expenses
Flights, accommodation and transfers are booked by us and invoiced at cost, with receipts attached. Travel is never deducted from a talent's fee and is never marked up. Visa and permit costs, where a destination requires them, are invoiced the same way.
Once tickets are issued or a non-refundable stay is booked, those costs stand even if the event moves or is cancelled.
Talent commission
Talent keep 70 percent of the fee and the agency takes 30. There is a single basis; no talent is asked for exclusivity. Talent who introduce a new client or a new face have between 5 and 10 percentage points waived, to a maximum of 10, for the remainder of the term.
Commission is calculated on the talent fee only, never on travel or expenses. Full terms sit in the representation agreement for each division: Fashion and Lifestyle.
Duties and conduct
Talent perform the duties written in the booking summary and nothing else. Hosting, presenting, fittings and guest-list work are professional engagements. Any request for services of a personal or intimate nature is a breach of these terms, ends the booking immediately, and the full fee remains payable.
We may withdraw talent from an event, without refund, where their safety is at risk, where the venue or duties differ materially from the brief, or where alcohol, drugs or harassment make the engagement unsafe. Talent are represented by an agency, not employed by the client. We represent adults only: every talent is 18 or over, and 21 or over where the law of the booking country or the venue requires it. Age is verified against identity documents before a first booking.
Image rights
A booking is for attendance and duties. It does not include the right to photograph, film or publish the talent. Where a client wants event photography, social content or campaign usage, the scope, territory and term are agreed in writing and priced separately before the event.
Usage granted to a client cannot be transferred, resold or extended without a new written grant. We may use event imagery in our own portfolio only where the talent and the client have both agreed.
Boards and confidentiality
Access codes to the Fashion and Lifestyle boards are issued per division and per organisation. Share a code inside your own team only. Talent published on a board agreed to be seen by clients, not to be forwarded, screenshotted into group chats or reposted.
Talent still in review are never published; their profiles are sent privately and carry the same restriction. Guest lists, venues and private client identities stay confidential on both sides, during the engagement and after it.
Changes and cancellation
Dates, duties and headcount can change while talent availability allows, and every change is re-confirmed in writing. Cancelling a confirmed booking carries a fee of $1,000 per booking, and the deposit ladder in the Refund Policy applies on top of it. That policy forms part of these terms.
If talent become unavailable through illness or travel failure, we offer a replacement of equivalent standing or refund the fee for that talent in full. That is the limit of our obligation on a substitution.
Liability
Our total liability for any booking is limited to the fees paid for that booking. We are not liable for a client's event outcome, guest behaviour, venue conditions, or losses that are indirect or consequential, including lost profit or reputation.
Neither side is liable for failure caused by events outside reasonable control: closed airspace, government restriction, extreme weather, civil disruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Before either side files anything, we talk: send the reference and the problem to info@thefashioncasting.com and we respond within three business days.
We may update these terms. The version and date at the top of this page always show what is current, and a booking is governed by the version in force when its summary was issued.
