What this covers
A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep. Browsers also offer session and local storage, which do a similar job without a cookie. This page covers all three, because the distinction matters to engineers and not to you.
We use browser storage for one purpose: keeping a talent board unlocked while you are looking at it. Everything else on this site works with storage switched off. What we do with the data behind a booking is in the Privacy Policy.
What we store, in full
This is the complete list. If something is not on it, we are not setting it.
| Name | Kind | What it does | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| fc-board-fashion | Session storage | Keeps the Fashion board unlocked after you enter your access code, so it does not re-ask on every profile. | When the tab closes |
| fc-board-lifestyle | Session storage | The same, for the Lifestyle board. Codes are issued per division, so the two are stored separately. | When the tab closes |
| PayPal checkout | Third-party cookies | Set by PayPal, not by us, and only on the payment page once the checkout loads. They carry the session, the language and PayPal's fraud checks. | Per PayPal's policy |
Board access codes
Both talent boards sit behind a code issued to members we have already spoken to. When you enter it, we keep the unlocked state in your browser's session storage — not in a cookie, and not on our servers against your name. It never leaves your browser and is never read by a third party.
It clears when you close the tab, and immediately when you use the lock control on the board. On a shared or borrowed device, use the lock control. Talent portfolios are the material we are most careful with.
PayPal checkout
Card and Apple Pay payments run on PayPal's own checkout. It loads on the payment page and sets PayPal's cookies under PayPal's cookie policy, which we do not control and cannot switch off for you. Card numbers are entered on their checkout and never touch this site.
If you would rather not load it at all, pay by bank transfer or crypto instead — both are on the payment page and neither sets anything in your browser.
What we do not set
No advertising cookies. No analytics of any kind — we do not run Google Analytics or an equivalent, so we do not know which pages you read or how long you stayed. No Meta pixel, no LinkedIn insight tag, no TikTok pixel, no retargeting of any description.
No embedded social feeds, no chat widget, no session recording, no heatmaps, no A/B testing tools, no fingerprinting. We do not build a profile of you from this site, and we have nothing to sell to anyone who would want one.
Links that leave the site
The booking buttons open WhatsApp, Telegram or Signal, and some pages link to a client's or a venue's site. Those are ordinary links — nothing is embedded here and nothing reports back to us. Once you are on WhatsApp or PayPal you are under their terms and their storage, not ours.
Clearing and blocking
Every browser lets you clear site data and block cookies, usually under Settings, then Privacy. Closing the tab clears our storage on its own, and a private window keeps nothing after you close it.
Blocking everything is fine here. The one cost is that a board will ask for your code again on each page. PayPal's checkout will not run with third-party cookies blocked — pay by transfer or crypto in that case.
Changes and contact
We update this page when what we store changes, and the date at the top shows the current version. Questions about it go to info@thefashioncasting.com and are answered by a person, not a queue.
